Don’t panic or think you have to quickly adjust your television if you see black and white spots; it is just Mandy Moore looking great on national television.

During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, Dec. 18, the actress and singer of “Candy” looked stunning in a matching polka-dot dress and heels.

The dress was a black, single-strap shin-length gown with white polka dots. The basic yet sophisticated look was completed with closed-toe matching black and white polka-dot heels.

Moore has been spotted wearing polka dots-inspired clothing before, even before her most recent appearance on The Tonight Show. She has been a fan of polka since childhood!

Moore posted a vintage family photo of her cherished family members wearing matching polka-dot attire on her Instagram account back in 2015.

Moore at the time wrote as the caption for the Instagram photo, “So much going on in this photo: my dad and brother’s faux surprise facial expressions, the matching polka dots, the hair all around, etc.

Moore’s love affair with polka dots started early. Thanks to Moore’s parents!

Moore appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2019 wearing a white polka-dot dress with a high-low train and a ruffled neckline, adhering to her family’s fashion statement.

Additionally, in 2022, Moore posted an Instagram picture of herself wearing a brown pleated shirt dress with polka dots, as US Weekly reported at the time.

Moore is not the only one to be seen looking great in heels and a matching polka-dot dress lately. Earlier this month, on Dec. 14, Jessica Chastain was spotted on the Upper West Side in New York City wearing a black dress featuring white polka dots and matching heels.

The award-winning actress paired the matching look with a simple black leather jacket and black shades.

On the Tonight Show, Mandy said her older son does not want to watch her 2010 Disney film.

Mandy Moore’s older son appears to be unimpressed with his mom’s Disney character status.

During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, the actress and singer stated that her 2-and-a-half-year-old son August “Gus” Harrison is uninterested in the fact that she voiced Rapunzel in the animated film Tangled.

The 39-year-old Dr. Death actress expressed her son’s lack of interest in the 2010 animated musical film to host Jimmy Fallon, saying, “He could not have cared less.”

“He’s like, ‘You’re not Lightning McQueen.’ There’s no Cars situation,” she went on, noting Gus’ preference for the Pixar film series and protagonist voiced by Owen Wilson.

“I have questioned him multiple times. “You have seen Frozen now—would you like to watch Tangled?” I ask. He’s like, ‘No,’ Moore said, laughing. “It means nothing to him!”

Earlier in the interview, Moore talked about the upcoming holidays and traditions she has established so far with her sons.

The US actress stated, “We just moved, so we are kind of still figuring out what our roots are and cementing what our traditions are going to be.”

Moore recalls eating only breakfast foods on Christmas Eve as a child as one instance that comes to mind.

“I feel like I am going to incorporate that for us because we had breakfast for dinner on Christmas Eve,” she remarked. Pancakes, waffles, bagels, bacon, eggs, and everything in between. It was a ton of fun.

Her son was not amused when the “Tangled” actress shared a humorous photo with her “close friend” Rapunzel.

In proving that even cool moms may not be that cool to their kids, accomplished singer and actress Mandy Moore had quite an interesting encounter on a recent visit to Disneyland.

Recently, at Fantasyland’s The Royal Hall, the Tangled actress reconnected with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder, accompanied by her two-year-old son, August “Gus” Harrison.

Moore took to Instagram to share the adorable moment, but the big brother of the family was reluctant, to say the least.

Moore wrote on Instagram, “Gus is not interested in Tangled and really could not care less that Mom and Rapunzel are ‘close friends.'”
